Still passing BPP's!

Well everyone, I'm 37 weeks 1 day right now and I'm still passing everything and doing well. Once again, the baby can stay in until 39 weeks and June 13th is the date for induction. Of course, now we're looking at a breech baby again, so we'll have to see if she flips. If she doesn't - it's c-section time....otherwise, we'll try for a vaginal birth.

All for now!

No baby today!

Quick note before we head to lunch....

No baby today. Baby 4 lbs 2 oz. We dropped percentiles again to 1st%, but baby is growing and BPP looks good, so she stays in.

Induction date is set for June 13th.

35 weeks 5 days

All is well. BPP 8/8. Baby stays in a few more days. ;-)

Tomorrow Brad leaves for his final radiology oral board exam, which he will take in Louisville. He'll be back Wednesday evening. Wish him luck!! I know he'll do great. He's the best. :-)

Sadie and Ben

This is typical Sadie. Where did it go?

I'm getting angry now. Where did it go!

Oh nevermind, I forgot what I was looking for. Hahaha!

And now for Ben. I'm so cute!

Brother and sister love. Sort of....

I just liked his cross-eyes. ;-)

35 weeks 1 day!

Perfect score!

Nothing else is new. Next Friday is our growth scan. If the baby drops another percentile point, then the likelihood of delivering is well....imminent. She was at the 3rd% in weight last growth scan, weighing in at 3 lbs 1 oz. You must remember that she dropped from 5th% to 3rd% last time as well. So, in order to stay at the 3rd%, we want her to weight 4 lbs 8 oz. In order to get up back up to the 5th, she needs to be 4 lbs 12 oz. That's a whole lot of growing!

Another perfect score!

Yesterday was uneventful. Another perfect score.

Another week and a half until the growth scan....I honestly don't feel like I'm getting much bigger and the size difference between me and another girl my gestational age is astounding! Perhaps that is the problem...too much comparing. But it's definitely hard when you tell people you are 34-35 weeks pregnant and they look at you like you are an idiot. What??!? How can you be that far along?? You look so small!! Thanks lady. :-P

Ben came with me to the ultrasound and he did fantastic! It was a special "mommy - Ben time" and he loved it. He listened and held my hand all in the hospital and then we went to the aviary inside the hospital and hung out for a little while. Super fun!

34 weeks!

Well, we are now 34 weeks. Pretty cool, huh?

Everything looks good. All my BPP's come back great, so other than the inconvenience of going, it looks like we're still at just having a small baby - which is awesome!

The MFM today told me that we could possibly go to 39 weeks, instead of the previously discussed 37 weeks. I am super elated at this news. She said that there is really no literature that says that 37 weeks is better than 39 weeks, as long as the baby is growing and still doing great. That means that delivery could be as late as the week of 0June 14th!! Super awesome. Of course, that could all change with one bad BPP or one bad growth scan, but the possibility of it is pretty cool.

No baby today!

I say things like it is - and there is no baby coming out of me today. Woo hoo! 33 weeks 1 day pregnant. Woo hoo!

We had our growth scan today (always nerve wracking) and she grew. Yay!! Not as much as between 27 and 30 weeks, but she still grew. At 30 weeks 1 day, the baby was averaging 27 weeks 1 day - so she was exactly 3 weeks behind on her growth. Today, at 33 weeks 1 day, she was averaging 29 weeks 3 days. Her weight is 3 lbs 1 oz (1377 grams), and that is also ok (not great, but ok). She was the 5th percentile for weight before, and now she is the 3rd percentile. Our doctor (the MFM fellow) was good with everything. All the dopplers and everything else looked good, so she is pleased. Keep on keeping on.

Obviously, there is not much to do in regards to the growth. At this point, she is just a really small baby. Perhaps when she is born we will have more answers (and perhaps more questions) in regards to her growth and size. At 36 weeks, for us to get back to the 5th percentile in weight, she'll need to weigh around 4 lbs 12 oz, which is a lot of growth in 3 weeks. So we'll see. Luckily, our next growth scan is AFTER Brad's boards (1 day after, but it's still after), so it looks like we will make it to then.

Yay!! No baby!!
