Granddaddy's 60th Birthday Party

We surprised Granddaddy big time this weekend. Gamma planned an awesome surprise 60th birthday party for Granddaddy and got lots of people to come. He didn't know that we were coming for the weekend and when we arrived late Friday night, Ben rang the doorbell and we were hiding in the garage. Surprise! Ben is on the doorstep.

We had a fantastic time going to Mark's Melon Patch on Saturday morning. We took a bunch of pictures around the pumpkins and sunflowers and Ben and Luke had a great time jumping in the inflatable pumpkin. 

Saturday evening was the party and there was a cooking demonstration, random seating chart (scary!), and quality time. Apparently, Ben was so tired that he told the babysitters that he was tired and just went to bed by himself. Luke, on the other hand, stayed up until 11:15 pm. He never gets tired! 

We had a great time!
