Last night was a big day. The last day of Brad's internship.
Now we are starting in the cushy lifestyle known as radiology residency for the next 4 years (yes, 4 more!...and that doesn't include the maybe 1 or 2 year fellowship on top of that). I'm definitely super excited about the change in his schedule. Get this, Brad basically has no call the first year. He has the things called short call, which apparently "aren't that mandatory" once every 14 days from 5 pm - 11 pm. Then he's got a couple of hours in the morning on Saturday and Sunday like once every 14 weekends (of course they would schedule him for the weekend of September 21st...our due date). Other than that, we're smooth sailing 8-6 M-F everyday. Yay!!
As for other exciting news in our life, nothing really is going on too much. We're 28 weeks pregnant, things are going smoothly. Our crib comes this week and now we'll finally have something to put in our empty nursery. Woo hoo!
